The new Bulk Bag Dispensers were delivered to Port Hedland and Karratha in December, for the bulk storage and shipping of Aggregates and Sands for production of Concrete on Barrow Island. The bulk bags are filled via the dispenser which uses a deductive weighing system to fill the bags to the correct level. Following quarantine, the filled bags are then placed in an open top shipping container and sent across to the Island where Batchcrete’s new Batching Plant will produce 5000m3 of concrete from it.
